“Aurubis Bulgaria” welcomed Bulgaria's best students in physics and mathematics

On the 18-th of November, 39 excellent students and their teachers visited the copper plant in Bulgaria. 

The visit was part of the Autumn National Physics Competition, which took place at Lyuben Karavelov Secondary School in Koprivstitsa, in the period from the 17th to the 19th of November.

The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Education and Science and the Regional Department of Education - Sofia Region.

The young physicists were welcomed by specialists of the company and introduced to its production activities. After an interesting presentation presenting the path of metals, the wide application of copper as well as the development of the green economy, they visited the Refinery Department  and the Waste water treatment plant.

"Aurubis Bulgaria" welcomed talented Olympians for the third time and thanked its partners in the name of Ms. Rositsa Ivanova - Head of Regional Education Department - Sofia Region for successful partnership between business and education.
