Social Engagement

With our social engagement, we focus on the areas of the environment, knowledge, and participation.

Social commitment is a fixed component of Aurubis’ company identity. We strive to be a responsible, reliable partner for our employees, suppliers, customers, and neighbors at our sites. We have set the target of contributing to a livable environment for future generations. In the process, we focus on areas of action that are linked with Aurubis’ key expertise.

Our social engagement is often linked to donations or sponsoring projects. Projects and partners are selected based on established criteria.

For many years, we have been involved at schools, in vocational training and education, in the promotion of sports and culture, and at events in the neighborhoods surrounding the company’s sites. We have placed these varied activities under one slogan, “together we care,” which brings together all of Aurubis’ projects. These projects have three focuses: knowledge, environment, and participation. With #togetherwecare, we make a key contribution to the company strategy.
